Hey all. I do a fair amount of my own car maintenance, nothing structural, mostly servicing and brakes. What I keep running into is the gap between the owner’s handbook, which tells me almost nothing useful, and the workshop documentation, which the dealer treats as proprietary. Subscription services for the full data are expensive for someone doing two or three jobs a year. What do other home mechanics use for actual specifications? The car is about twelve years old, a common European model, nothing rare or specialist.
