Huracan gearbox hesitation – any ideas?
I’ve had my Huracan for just over a year now and honestly it’s been the most thrilling car I’ve ever owned, that V10 sound and the way it handles is just addictive. But recently I’ve noticed something that’s been bothering me – when I’m driving in normal automatic mode, there’s a slight hesitation when the gearbox downshifts, almost like it’s pausing for a moment before it drops down a gear. It’s not a huge issue, and it doesn’t happen every time, but it’s definitely noticeable and it’s got me a bit worried because I know these dual-clutch transmissions are complex and expensive to fix if something goes wrong. I’ve tried driving in corsa mode and it seems fine, so I’m wondering if it might be a software issue or maybe the transmission fluid needs changing. I’ve been reading online about some similar issues and it seems like getting the transmission adaptation reset can sometimes help, but I’m not sure if that’s something I should be doing at a specialist or if the dealership is the only safe option. I’m in Abu Dhabi and I’ve been told that getting exclusive Lamborghini service in Abu Dhabi from a proper specialist is really important for these cars because they need proper diagnostic equipment and technicians who truly understand the systems.
