Grinding for cosmetics can feel like a second job, and most of us didn’t boot up ARC Raiders to do overtime. Twitch Drops are the rare win: you can earn legit in-game flair while you’re eating dinner or half-watching a stream on a second monitor. If you’re the type who normally tops up gear or picks up extras from places like EZNPC, Drops are a nice “spend nothing” alternative that still makes your raider look like you’ve been putting in the hours.
Link Your Accounts First
Everything starts with your Embark account, and this is where people mess it up. Go to Embark’s site, open your profile, and find the Connected Platforms area. Link Twitch there, not inside the game, and make sure the status actually flips to “Connected.” If you play on PlayStation, Xbox, or Steam, link that platform to the same Embark ID before you do anything else. It’s boring setup work, yeah, but it’s the difference between getting rewards instantly and staring at an empty cosmetics tab later.
Find The Right Streams
On Twitch, search ARC Raiders and look for the “Drops Enabled” tag. No tag, no progress. The watch-time rewards usually climb in a simple way: you might get something small after about 30 minutes, then better stuff after around two hours. The good bit is it’s cumulative, so you can hop between streamers without losing progress. Still, don’t set it and vanish for the whole night. I’ve had sessions where a quick chat message or two seemed to keep everything behaving, especially when the stream is quiet.
Claim Fast Or Lose It
Here’s the annoying part: hitting 100% isn’t the finish line. You need to open your Twitch Drops Inventory and manually claim the reward, otherwise it can expire. People assume it’ll auto-deliver, then they check the next day and it’s gone. Also watch campaign windows. Event Drops can be strict on dates, and if a campaign ends, that cosmetic is usually done for good. After you claim, restart the game and check your cosmetics menu; most of the time it shows up right away, but the reboot helps if it’s lagging.
Keep Your Setup Ready
Once you’ve got the links sorted, you’re basically future-proofed for the next batch of campaigns. That matters because ARC Raiders events tend to roll in fast, and you don’t want to be scrambling with logins while everyone else is already earning. If you’re switching platforms, double-check you’re still on the same Embark ID, and keep an eye on what each Drop actually is so you’re not watching hours for something you won’t use.
