Few things in Path of Exile 2 are as disheartening as defeating a powerful boss and receiving little to no worthwhile loot. Recognizing this frustration, GGG is rolling out changes to ensure that bosses consistently drop meaningful rewards.
Boss Loot Rebalancing

Guaranteed Rare Drops: Act bosses and map bosses will now always drop at least one rare item. This guarantees that players receive a baseline reward for their efforts, reducing the likelihood of “wasted” encounters.

Gold Drop Adjustments: Unique monsters will no longer drop more than 50% gold. This ensures that item drops are more relevant and useful for character progression.
Consistency is Key These changes are designed to create a smoother and more predictable loot experience. Players can expect fewer disappointing encounters and more opportunities to acquire rare and valuable items.
